Gousto has really helped us have a variety of meals and stopped me stressing over what to eat every day! Apart from the odd time when ingredients are damaged in transit or missing (warehouse issues) I’m very happy with them. Food quality is high and my food waste has dropped dramatically. The only thing I would say is I’d love recipes to be lower carb and higher veg balance as they tend to be quite potato/rice/tortilla heavy

We've used Gousto for a few years and they've been an absolute lifesaver during these COVID months. We've been loving the recipes and it has made sure we've kept eating healthy and varied.

Good variety of meals and enjoy the convenience. On a few occasions items have been damaged in transit and gousto have felt with this swiftly and easily by giving credit off the next order.

We changed to Gousto from a similar company and have to say very glad we did! Much prefer the choices and food. There’s lots of options which change regularly. The recipe cards are easy to follow and the meals are great. Some take as little as 10 minutes to prepare, others a bit more but we’ve been very happy with 99% of our choices. The 1% is purely down to the choices we’ve made, not the food itself. If there’s any problems (for example we were sent two kebab skewers instead of four. Minor issues) the company has responded and resolved them quickly. Would highly recommend.

Menus are very good, and contents are reasonable quality. However what ever you do, do not forget to complete the order. I am a nurse on night duty and forgot to complete. I contacted the service desk an hour after cut off and no help was offered, could not cancel. So I got food i did not want/like, surly the best way is if people don’t order, don’t deliver! Also complaints process is non existent. My advice is save yourself some money, just buy your own ingredients, get a good cookbook and cook your own.

Only thing that stops it being excellent are the odd missing ingredient, may be something as simple as oregano but can be a pain if you don’t have it. They always credit toward future boxes. Every meal we’ve had has been brilliant though, tasty, easy to follow instructions.

This is a great way to save money on your weekly shop. All ingredients included, 4 recipes a week, no subscription. Just all round great food. Ingredients so fresh!

Moved to Gousto after trying the other market leader. The recipes are so tasty and interesting but I find the ingredients arrive in a chaotic jumble and take a long time to sort. The peppers are invariably damaged and need to be eaten fast or replaced. Ingredients are sometimes missing and on one occasion the chicken wasn't packed in the chiller part. Luckily it was a cool day and we ate it within hours. I've also noticed a much shorter shelf life for ingredients than our previous supplier.The recipe cards are more complicated that the other company we have used (and a smaller font!) and I haven't found a way of seeing the recipe details without having to search the site, which is tedious with our very slow internet. Despite all these negatives, the recipes are SO delicious, I look forward to each week. If the chaotic aspects could be addressed, I could be a customer for life!

I'm a new customer but so far I have enjoyed each meal had 8 so far and all have been tasty and easy to follow, even learnt new ways of cooking

We just love the meals. Easy and tasty every time. So much choice and easy to choose gluten free options that I need. On the odd occasion there have been missing ingredients they refund some money and feed it back to packers but hardly ever happens which is why we changed from another box delivery. Highly recommended!

Such a fantastic business idea, but customer service absolutely appalling when things go wrong, which they do. We are a vegan household and have been sent non vegan items on multiple occasions. Every time, I am assured the problem will not happen again and they refuse to take the matter seriously or even grasp that there is an issue. It's 2021 and yet they still refuse to have a vegan marker on their platform. Even when ordering 100% vegan menus, we are sent non-vegan items.

I have been with Gousto for many years but over the past few months almost every single delivery has had something missing. It's gotten to the point where I cannot plan meals because I am not sure if I will be able to cook what I have ordered. I have even had to order takeaway because one or more of the ingredients of every meal for the week was missing. Today was the last straw, life is too short for this. I will try somewhere else.

Not for me, if you order 4 meals for 4 people. It's all thrown in 1 box, chicken juice on tofu. Not ideal. Id rather support my local butcher, fruit and veg shop and read a good recipe book.
